The Children’s Burns Trust and London and South East BurnsNetwork would like to invite you to the first national conference for parents and carers of children with a burn injury.

Guest speakers will include psychologists, surgeons, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Adult burn survivors and parents/carers of burn survivors from across the UK will also talk about their personal experiences of a burn injury.

The conference is open to all parents/carers of a child with a burn injury across the UK. There may also be some professionals who are interested in attending the day.

09.45 – 10.15am: Registration & Coffee

10.15 – 10.30am: Welcome & Introduction

10.30 – 11.30am: Psychology (45 mins for presentation, 15 mins for questions)

11.30 – 12.30pm: Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy (45 mins for presentation, 15 mins for questions)

12.30 – 1.30pm: Lunch & coffee

1.30 – 2.30pm: Surgeons (45 mins for presentation, 15 mins for questions)

2.30 – 3.30pm: Burns Survivors & parents of survivors

3.30 – 4.00pm: Panel session with all presenters

4.00 – 5.30pm: One to One Sessions/networking/coffee
