An Unforgettable Evening: Ideal Medical Solutions Raises £22,000 at Spring Ball 2026
We are delighted to share the wonderful news that the Ideal Medical Solutions (IMS) Charity Spring Ball 2026 raised an extraordinary £22,000, with the proceeds being shared equally between Children’s Burns Trust and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. It was an evening of warmth, generosity and celebration, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this remarkable achievement possible.
A Night to Remember
The IMS Spring Ball brought together guests for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, fine dining and fundraising. A highlight of the night was a Live and Silent Auction featuring exclusive experiences, luxury prizes and unique opportunities, all made possible through the generosity of IMS’s sponsors and supporters. Guests who were unable to attend in person were also given the opportunity to participate in the auction online, ensuring as many people as possible could be part of this special occasion.
The combined total raised on the night is a testament to the incredible spirit of the IMS community and the power of people coming together in support of causes that matter.

“The success of our Charity Spring Ball is something everyone at IMS can be immensely proud of. Raising £22,000 for two outstanding charities is a remarkable achievement and demonstrates the generosity, compassion, and community spirit of everyone who supported the event.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to our sponsors, supporters, guests, volunteers, and the entire IMS team. Events of this scale are only possible through the dedication and hard work of so many people, and I am truly grateful for the commitment shown by all involved.
Most importantly, these funds will make a real difference to the lives of those supported by Children’s Burns Trust and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Knowing that our efforts will help individuals and families facing significant challenges makes this achievement even more meaningful.
A Message from Andrew Wakeling, CEO of Ideal Medical Solutions This event marks an important milestone in IMS’s ongoing commitment to giving back. We look forward to continuing our support for these incredible charities and building on this success through future fundraising initiatives.”
Support from Our Community
A particularly moving moment of the evening came when Children’s Burns Trust Ambassador Saffron Cohen addressed the room. As a burn survivor herself, Saffron spoke about the reality of living with a burn injury and the difference that the right support can make to a child and their family. Hearing directly from someone with that lived experience brought the work of the charity to life in a way that statistics alone never can, and we are enormously grateful to Saffron for her openness and courage in sharing her story.
We are lucky to have Ambassadors like Saffron who are prepared to stand up like that and speak about their story. Her words about her own experiences and the work of the charity, were a powerful reminder of exactly why events such as the IMS Spring Ball, and the fundraising efforts of all our supporters, matter so much.

Words from Our Chair of Trustees, Prințesa Marina Lobanov Rostovsky născută Wladimiroff “The generosity demonstrated by Ideal Medical Solutions and their guests this spring has been truly moving. An evening of this calibre, organised with such care and commitment to charitable causes, reflects the very best of what a business can do for its community. On behalf of the trustees and everyone at Children’s Burns Trust, I extend our most sincere gratitude to IMS for choosing to support our work, and to Saffron for representing our charity with such grace and dedication. The funds raised will make a meaningful difference to children and families across the UK who are impacted by burn injuries, and for that we are profoundly thankful.”
What Your Support Means
Children’s Burns Trust receives no government funding. Every penny we raise goes directly towards our three core areas of work: preventing burn and scald injuries through education and awareness; providing direct support to families following an injury; and delivering access to specialist rehabilitation, including our programme of Family Rehabilitation Weekends hosted at Firefighters Charity centres across England and Wales.
In 2025, 10,164 children and young people experienced burn or scald injuries serious enough to require specialist treatment. Events like the IMS Spring Ball are what make it possible for us to continue being there for those children and their families.

Thank You, Ideal Medical Solutions
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Ideal Medical Solutions for their vision, hard work and generosity in organising such a remarkable event. Your commitment to making a difference is an inspiration, and we look forward to continuing to work alongside you.
