Children’s Burns Trust, the only charity dedicated to providing support and rehabilitation for burn and scald injured children and their families, as well as prevention and awareness campaigns, is proud to announce its 25th anniversary. For 25 years the charity has been at the forefront of providing crucial support to burn survivors and their families and delivering vital prevention messages across the UK.
Over the past 25 years, Children’s Burns Trust has made a profound impact in countless children’s lives. The charity has supported burn survivors and their families with essential emergency grants, offering immediate financial assistance during challenging times. Through its highly valued family weekends, the charity has provided invaluable rehabilitation support, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding among those affected by burns. Beyond direct support, the charity has reached millions more through its impactful prevention campaigns, educating the public on the main causes of burns to children and equipping them with the knowledge of what to do if an accident occurs.
As Children’s Burns Trust marks this significant milestone, it is excited to launch a new fundraising campaign designed to power the next 25 years of its critical work. This initiative aims to secure the resources necessary to continue and expand the charity’s vital services.
